This may be kindof ranty in the first paragraph.
Lately my mom has been needing more help at random times with breaks ranging from 1 minute to 1 hour. Usually she needs my help when I'm writing a post or in an online chat like Discord or Google+ or watching a 15 to 45 minute TV show (she usually walks in right at 10 to 4 minutes before the end unless it's a movie, then it's every 5 to 45 minutes randomly). In addition my grandfathers housekeeper who turned him against the family and caused us a nightmare with the distribution of his estate has resurfaced near where my older brother and birth dad are living. In addition my older brother still is angry at most of the family over my mom and dad getting a divorce back in the 90's so all of that complicates things. I also had to play for a funeral service and 2 concerts and started getting a new greenhouse set up. In addition me and my family went to Washington state to visit relatives and I have an upcoming month long holiday (snow bird) trip coming up in just a couple of weeks. I've also been dealing off and on with 4 people online stalking me and my friends, all of whom have tried to destroy our reputations and/or turn friends against us numerous times in the past. I also live in a family where some don't believe in otherkin/therian identities and others are just flat out against it. Ok, think I'll stop there before this turns into a really long rant.
Most of my friends now are online partly because I'm living in a rural area with not many people my age living here and partly due to moving around so much of my life. Also alot of people have vanished from being on forums and chat. Because of this it is important to me to keep in touch with my online friends, people on friends and contacts lists, and people I get replies from on forums and gaming sites.
I'm looking for advice on two things. First I need advice on balancing online and real life so I don't keep ending up with stuff that never gets posted or suddenly jumping out in the middle of a conversation. Second I need help figuring out where people are most active (on forums, Discord, Google+, Skype, etc.).
