@halo: This holds better true for physical beings who didn't come from this world, I think... But your case seems very much different, and I have to ask, was it kind of like a group mind or conscious? Sorry, curiosity kills water dragons ><

@argyros ~ Maybe we should inbox each others of this, simply because this isn't the right board to talk about it

Going back to Quotes xD
One that my mother keeps saying is "Luck is being ready when opportunity appears"
And one that I specially like is "When life gives you lemons, Make orange juice and leave the world wondering how the hell you did it" Don't know who said that, first saw it in a Signature around, but Gotta love this one~

@steinhoff I prefer the one I made up "When life gives you lemons, throw them back"
My friend has this quote that went something like this..."Those who fight monsters should take care not to become one, for when you look into the abyss, the abyss also looks into you." Or even from The Great Gatsby I had to read for an english class sophomore year. "So we beat on, like boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past" I know a lot of quotes, so I'll probably post more later.

Here is one that I find is so true but that many don't think of: "Only fools feel no fear at all." ~unknown And one that touched me: "Yesterday is history Tomorrow is a mystery Today is a gift, that's why its called the present." ~ Alice Morse Earle There are others but these are the ones that stick out in my memory. That last one is in Kung Fu Panda ^..^

*points to signature* These are quotes I made, with some help from my Guide. Sometimes we pass by people- seemingly unimportant people- without a second thought, only to meet them personally later on.Have you ever walked by someone, and you think nothing more than "oh look a random stranger", but then you meet them again a few days later and find out they're important? Never take a friend's gift for granted.Wise words from my Guide. People don't seem to care that much when they get a present, especially poorly-chosen one. They don't realize that a gift is a gift, and should be cherished. It also means that a gift could be something we overlook easily. What comes as an accident can be the greatest discovery. Like when a child accidentally spills blue paint into the red paint, he discovered purple. @ Steinhoff I lol'd at your lemon quote! Edit: What you are looking for will find you when you least expect it. You know you've read a good book when you get to the end, and you feel like you've just lost a best friend.

I think a lot of the world and how we know it today got built on a foundation that looks a lot like your quote here. Discoveries.

Penicillin is the first that comes to mind. There is quite a list on wikipedia en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serendipity

"Where the written word ends, Music begins" - Quote painted on my Mate's wall. Don't know who said it. The quote is actually "Where words leave off, music begins." - Heinrich Heine "If all the world's a stage, lets burn the script and pen our own lines." (I believe it's a song lyric, but part of it's from As You Like It) "The human race is governed by its imagination." - Napoleon Bonaparte "You do not have a soul, you are a soul. You have a body."- C.S. Lewis "Love consists of two souls residing in one body." (I don't have a name for this one, but it is also on my wall) "Everybody is someone else's secret." (Lyrics from The Audition. Also on my wall.) "Every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end." (Lyrics from Semisonic's Closing Time) Sorry, I'm a bit of a quote freak. I literally have PAGES written, and own a Quotationary.

Here's a couple I live by:
"The human life is a precious one, never waste an opportunity for more knowledge." - Ebesu
"Lying gets you no happiness in life, the only thing it proves is that you gave into temptation." - Ebesu
"If a god truly exists, would he want us to be afraid of hell? Live your life to what you think is right." - Ebesu
"What I want is money, in order to get myself a house in the wilderness." - Ebesu
"When your alone, everything belongs to you, when someone is with you, only half the things belong to you" - Leonardo Da Vinci
This is another one I don't know if I can quote exactly
"Men has chosen to clip their wings. They have forgoten the ability to fly. But men do have the ability." - Leonardo Da Vinci (correct me if I'm wrong)
"where other men blindly follow the truth, remember. Nothing is true. Where other men are limited by morality and law, remember. Everything is permitted" - Blue2volf on DA One I got just recently. I like it.
I hope these were good.

@ Stein & Rail
Here's a lemon one: "When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade! Make life take the lemons back! Demand to see life's manager! Get MAD!"
I live by that one. It's by Cave Johnson, from Portal 2. A freakishly deep game, if you look past the amazing humor.
"Blessed are those who have not seen yet believe" - Jesus of Nazareth
Fitting for likes of us, I say.

The inside of the cover of my sketchbook is filled with them. x3 Here's a few:
"I beg you, to have patience with everything unresolved in your life and try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don't search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions now. perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even knowing it, live your way into the answer." Rainer Maria Rilke
"Do not look back in anger, or forward in fear, but around in awareness."
"Wake up every morning like you did it on purpose." (My personal favorite.)
"Wounded people are dangerous: They know they can survive."
And if I could copy and paste the entire Tao te Ching, I would. XD

So I was playing .Hack//Quarantine late last night and when I was going through a story dungeon a voice came on and said this:
"Evolution does not always mean progress."
I don't know who was saying it (I think it was one of Harald's memory fragments) but it struck a cord with me for some reason.

@ Kai
I've beaten all the .Hack//G.U. games, and I'd say there are a lot of great quotes in those games, I don't always understand them though. XD

@seric: I haven't been able to find any of the GU games, and they're so expensive online. I do have the original collection though, which I actually like better (I watched the //ROOTS anime so I know how the The World V.2 system works) in some ways. The classes are better.
I think the lack of understanding though is part of what I like about the games. I get philosophy in a fake MMO where I don't actually have to deal with other gamers, rather I get to pretend that I do. They simulate the MM part of the MMO very well.
