Well, I'm not so sure about the whole therian side of it but my freind (none kin) was having dreams like that because of a disturbance in her normal day so she was not sleeping for weeks on end and when she did she had dreams like that has anything happened to create distress?

Yeah, I agree with Roller. Has anything caused stress? Stress, or things along those lines can cause really odd dreams.
The dreams can also help figure out a theriotype, atleast that's part of how I figured out how I was a blue shark therian as well as a mountain plains wolf. The dreams tend to be freaky and even hard to wake up from sometimes. I think it could possibly be linked to a new side of yours.

nope, no stress. i'm pretty laid back, no drama, life has been pretty ho hum actually. Sad part is the dreams with the running/ cornering are the ones that make me wake up shaking and crying. *shrug*
