Paging through posts - Display only at top but not bottom?

Hello, I have a question about paging through threads. I don't know if it's only on my end or what but when I want to go to the next page on a thread I have scroll back all the way up to the top so I can page through the thread. Most forums have the "page to..." feature at the top as well as the bottom which makes for easier functioning on forums. Maybe I'm overlooking something and I'm not seeing it? I've also checked the Member Rules and FAQ to see if there is something with my personal settings but I didn't find an answer there. Help please?

As far as I know there isn't a function like that on the forums yet. Not a bad idea though. Doppel or Teleg would be a little more knowledgeable about this function and if it could be implemented though. Also speaking of bottom and top of forums, I think a function that allowed us to click "Back to Top" would be helpful as well. n_n

You are right Somnia, and I think this forum is one of the very few out there that doesn't have a "go to page" bar on both top and bottom. We used to have it before the most recent (major) proboards update, but now you just have to work that mouse wheel a little harder, or just go for the scroll bar like I do.

Thanks for the replies! Maybe one of the future updates will allow this feature to be made possible for the forums.

Unfortunately, while this is possible to add, I'm not really a CSS Pro.

Proboards thought it was smart to add an annoying floating box that laggily follows you around as you scroll down. The box has the page buttons, but ended up looking broken and/or bloated on older PCs (with 1024x768 screens) and smartphones. I just stripped the code to make the box move and then tacked it on top of the page.

Unless we get someone we know who's proficient in CSS (and can navigate that still-broken mess of the Proboards coding panel), we will have to make do with the stock Proboards layout and parts of the original CSS code from Re-Harakhti (our former admin who coded the CSS for this site).

That would be great to add in this feature. I think it would really help make it easier to navigate through the threads.

Ok, so after some HTML searching for doing what I was thinking of trying to do for this suggestion, I've fixed the navigation bar to where it now follows you all the way to the bottom of whatever thread you are on at the time. *throws hands in air victoriously* lol I know little to nothing about HTML, but I figured it out for this in about an hour or so. XD Anyways, hope this helps. :3 I feel really accomplished and happy now.
