Polytherian or Hybrid

Hey all,
To start off, let me just say that until recently I've identified myself as solely as a Grey Wolf. That part hasn't changed at all despite recent events. I've been practicing Shamanism for about 10 years now, and so self-discovery and awareness has been an important part of my spiritual life. Recently, I've been diving really deep into myself, trying to really understand myself, my past lives and my identity. Shifting is a big part of my Shamanic practice, for obvious reasons, but recent shifts have produced something odd.
I recently shifted and felt like I was something intangible, something amorphous and fluid-like. This fluidity made my senses sharpen and my stream of conscious thought stop. I felt a simultaneous lack of emotion as well as a deep sense of spaciousness in my head. Slowly, I shifted again, the fluid feeling slowly shaped limbs and I found myself feeling the familiar Wolf paws and tail that come and go on the daily basis, but the emotional neutrality and spacious feelings remained.
This felt very different than the cameo shifts I've experienced in the past. Also, ever since this event, whenever I shift in the typical manor, the spaciousness of mind is always there with the phantom limbs of the Wolf. On occasion the fluid feelings with come and go as well, sometimes mixing with the Wolf sensations. These new sensations don't feel separate from myself or like anything I've experienced before. My experience with Therianthropy has always been of common/typical animal shifts; fur, paws, teeth, claws, ect. What I'm wondering is if this recent addition of new sensations could be an indication of being a hybrid or poytherian? If so, I know its not typical, so what Otherkin have experiences of the fluidity I described?
